Go to frame 120 and move your object to the left side of your screen.

Once there, press the I key and choose the location keyframe type

again. Press the SPACEBAR key, and you will see the object starting in

the left and moving to the right. After staying still for one second, it will

go back to the left side.

Besides the solid line connecting two keyframes that shares the same

data, you will also find other places displaying animation data color

codes. In the Sidebar and Object tab properties with a:

Yellow background: means an existing keyframe at the current

frame

Green background: Value created by interpolation between two

keyframes

Using those color codes helps to identify when animation data exists in

any property (Figure 7.13).

When you are in a frame where the selected object has a keyframe, your

property displays a yellow background. For the intermediate frames

where interpolation is occurring, the property background will be green.
